Dec.S  I823 oorporation, shall be in the. name of the president and stewards of
the Fell's Point Washington Beneficial Society,. and that all process
that may be hereafter instituted against the s.id society, shall be
served on ide president on behalf of the same,
Proceedings   7. 'And be it inacted, That'it shall and may he lawful for the said
and power   corporation and their successors fore'cr herriafter, to have a com-
mon seal for'their use, and the same at the will and pleasure of tileM
and their successors, tb cltanre, alter, break and make anew from time
to time, as they shall think best, and thall in ge'rral ha- e and exer-
clue all such rights,'franchises, privilege's andimnrnunities as by law
are incident and necessary to corporatins of this kind, and which
may be necessary to the corporation herein and hereby conftittite4
and erected, to enable them duly'and fully in thelaw, to execute all
things to'uching and conccrningthe design and intent of thcir said
corporation, for the benevolent 3uccour, relief and good order of its
menbers, and the widows and orphans of deceIsed members of the
said society, agreeably to the constitution and such uIles and -bye-
laws as may be established by thcsaid society.
)issolutiou.  8. And be it enactcd, That if at any time it may be deemned ne-
cessary to dissolve this association, a proposition ti, tha: effect shall
be laid on the table in writing, at a stated meeting of 'the society,
and may be discussed at their next stated or special meeting, buit
shall not be finally decided on until it has been one full month be-
fore the society, and shall not take effect, unless three fourths of the
members residing within the city and precincts of Baltimore are in

dividually liable for the debts to be contracted, or that shall be con-

', 1824.     Wr! VRAS, sundry inhanitants of \Vashington county, by their pe-
-tamnble.  tition to the generl assembly, have set forth, that it is their inten-
tion to introduce the fish of other streams to tl.at of the Antietam
creek, provided a sufficient protection can be given to those intro-
duced, as well as the native fish of 8iid stream, and praying the aid
and interference of the legislature in their behalf; Therefore,

ialty.  if any f ceeperson shall whip or beat the water in the Antietam creek,
or its tributAry streams, Beaver creek, Long Meadow Branch, and
Little Antietarn, as far up those tributary streams as the first mill
dams, from the Antietanm, With poles, sticks or other things for the
purpose of driving the fish into nets, seines, fish baskets, or other
:mare, or shall erect any fish.pot, or suffer those already erected, to
remain two months after the passage of this act, or shall fish with
any net, basket, gig, trot lines, or in any other manner, except with
the angling rod, during the term of three years, to commence from
the first day of March next, and from the first day of Mrch to the
fifteenth day of June in each and every year thereafter, such person
i;o offending shall forfeit and pay for each offence,and for every month
a fish pot is suffered to remain, the sum of ten dollars, to be recover-
ed by action of debt in the name of the levy couit of NNI.shiing.
