to this general assembly hath set forth, and satisfactorily proved that
his wife Margaret was delivered of a colored child in the month of
February eighteen hundred and twenty-Therefore,
SaC. 1. Bi: 1T ENACTED By, the General Assembly of 11faryland, Divorced.
That the said Thomas Knock, be and he is hereby divorced from
bed, board and mutual cohabitation with his said wife, Margaret
Knock.
2. AND 1E IT ENACTED, That the said Margaret shall not, by   Wire not to
virtue of her marriage with the said Thomas, be authorised to have claim right.
or claim any right or interest in the estate, real, personal or mixed
of the said Thomas, to be by him acquired after the passage of this
act.
