Dec.SCe 1821. house shall agree to pay; and if any tobacco shall remain in tile said
1 ware-house above one year after inspection, the proprietol- of the said
ware-house may demand and shall be entitled to receive the firther
sun of twelve and a half cents for every month thereafter.
Inpeclor to e 2. AND lE IT ENAC'i.i), That the justice!, of the levy court of
nominated. 13altimore county, or a majority of them, shall, when the said ware-
house shall be erected or prepared and read%, for the reception and
inspection of tobacco, nominate and recommend, in writing, to the
governor and council, two, or if requested by the proprietor of tile
said ware-house. four persons, of whom the governor, with the ad-
vice and consent of the council, is authorised and required to al)-
point and commission one out of the two, or two out of the four, to
be the inspector or ispcctors of the said ware-house, in the manner
directed by the act entitled, An act to regulate the inspection of to-
bacco, passed at November session eiglteell iuntired and one; and
who in the absence of tile harbor master, shall have power and au-
thority to regulate the manner of admitting vessels to the wharf in
front of the ware-house fUr the purpose of landing tobacco for in-
Proviso spection at said ware-house; Provided, That tile mayor and city
council, shall, in writing, consent to vest this power in the inspector
as aforesaid.
Regulalion.- 3. AND BE IT ENACTI1), That thesaid wiare-house, when erected
bond. or prepared, shall be in allrespects under the same regulations as
other public ware-houses for inspection of tobacco in this state are
by law; and the inspector or inspectors of the said ware-house, when
appointed, shall qualify and give bond, and he subject in every res-
pect to tile regulations established by the said act entitld, All act to
regulate the inspection of tobacco, -.as if the said ware-house had
been established by the said act, except where it is othlerwise lprovid-
ed by this act.

acting as such at the said ware-house, 'shall account quarterly, or
oftcnier if required, with the proprietor of the said ware-house, for all
r1oney by him received for the inspection of tobacco, and shall pay
the same quarte:dy, and if required s:all give 1ond with security to
such proprietor, to account and pay as by this act is required.
