Dec Sea 1821k county, the head or heads of any crow or crows, and make oatli or
-        affirmation that the crow or crows was or were killed in said coun-
ty, between the fiftecnth day of April and the first day of July, and
were not caught or taken alive in any other county, and that no,
cirtificate hath been obtained from any other justice of the peace
for the same, such person, for every such head, shall be allowed in.
the county levy, the sum of twenty cents; and the justice of the
peace before whom such lh..ad or heads shall be brou'ght, is hereby
required to give the person bringing the same a. certificate thereof,
stating the number of heads, and that they were burnt in his pre-
sence; for which said oath or affirmation ald certificate, the Justice
of the Peace shall be entitled to eighteen and a half cents, to be
paid by the party requestin g the same.

rised to import and bring into this state, from the state of Virgi-
Provioo.   nia, and hold as a slave for life, his negro slave Parker; Provided,
That nothing herein contained shall be construed to authorise a
sale or disposition of said slave, within three years next succeeding
his importation aforesaid, otherwise than bv bequest, in a course of'
distribution, or by operation of law; and that the said negro slave
be registered in the clerk's office of Worcester county court, within.
three montls after his arrival in this state.

Passed Dec 28  An act for the relief of Edward Rider, of Baltimore county.

Preamble.     ,Vu'aarAs, Edward Rider, of Baltimore county, by his petition,,
has set forth, that he is an emigrant from Englanl, and that lie has
purchased real property in Baltimore county, and received a con-
veyance therefor before he was naturalized; that he was ignorant of
the laws and constitution of the country at the time of his receiv-
ing the conveyance for caid real property, as to the necessity of ia-
turalization; that since he received the conveyance as aforesaid, he
has been naturalized in Baltimore county court, say in September
1821, and prays that a law may pass in his favor, declaring his title to
all lands conveyed to him prior to his having been naturalized, good
and valid; therefore,
Title made va.  BE IT ENACTrD, By the General Assembly of M-arylland, That
any title to real property, acquired b) the aforesaid Ed'ward Rider,
whether such title be derived by gift, grant, purchase or devise, be,
and the same is hereby as amply and fully vested in the said Ed-
ward Rider, as if he, the said Edward Rider, had of been natural-
ized agreeably to the laws of the United States, before the acquir-
