Betton shall, within three months after the said slave or slaves shall have been removed as aforesaid, make out and de- liver to the clerk of Queen-Anne's county court, a certificate or list of said slave or slaves, stating therein the names, ages and sex. es , of the same, which certificate the clerk is hereby authorised and required to record in the same manner as is directed by the act, entitled, An act relating to negroes, and to repeal the acts of assembly therein mentioned, passed at November scssion seventeen hundred and ninety-six.
