Passed Jan 3. Ali act for the relief of Elizabeth R. Snyder of the City of
Baltimore.
Divorced.     Sec. 1. lIe it enacted by the General lsscmnbly Y Iaryland, That
the said Elizabeth R. Snydcr be and site is herebmy divorced from
hid, board, and mutual cohabitation, with her hmsband Charles L.
Snyder.
C L Snyder's  2. Anu be it enacted, That all tile right and title which tle said
title to proper- Charlcs L. Snyder, by virtue of his marriage with said Elizabeth
t declared  R. Snyder, had acquired to any property which she now is or nmay
.oid.      become entitled to, in any way or nuannetr whatever, be and time
samte is hereby annulled and inade. void; and that the said Eliza-
beth R. Snyder be and site is hereby (ecl'red capable to have, hold,
take, receive, sule for, and recover, by comn promise, suit or suits ill
law or equity, all such property, in as full and ample a nanner as
il'she were afeic sole, and had never been married; and to hold,
use and enjoy the same, for her own use and benefit, and the same
to dispose of according to hier' will and pleasure, without the mo-
lestation, interrerence, hindrance or consent, of her said husband,
ii the same manner site could or might have done were she afcmmo
sole.

'Passed Jan i.  An act for the relief of Eliza P. Custis of Baltimore.
May remove   Sec. 1. lie it eiacted by the General ,lssemnbly of Maryland, That
slaves into the Eliza P. Custis be and she is hereby authorised to remove, iminort,
btae.      and bring ito this state, from Virginia, at any time within ono
Year after the passage of this act, a negro slave named Milly, and
Charles, Sally, Lucy and Emery, chihdre   of tile said Milly,
uvhich slaves, or the mother of which slaves, shall have resided ill
the state of Virginia three whole years next preceding such re-
IProvj;o.  nioval or importatiom, and the same to retain as slaves; Provided,
that said Eliza 1. CuAstis shall cause said negro slaves to be regis-
tered ii tile olice of the clerk of Baltimore county, withiA threo
mouiths after said removal.

:h1.e. v,.trs.  strued to enable said Ehiza 11. Custis, to sell or dispose of said
slaves, until the said slaves shall have resided within this state
three whole years next preceding such sale, except in cases of dis-
position by last will and testament, and disposition by law for bona
Jide debts, or consequent upon intestacy.
