the said iniquisiticut shall be paid by tile person or persons
at whose request or for whose benetit it was taken,
Compen ation  4, AND BE IT -1,NAOI ED, That the said commis-
oncrsf h,, sioners as atoisaid, shall be allowed two dollars for every
day thayshall be employed in discharge of their duty under
this act' to be paid in tile same manner as the amount of
the valuation herein before directed to bu made.

nfgroes.  of M) aryland, That the said Elizabeth Lu,:kctt is hereby
auth-rised and empowering at any time within twelve
months after the passage of this act, to remove and bring
iilto this state the negro slaves mentioned and described in
the act to which this is further supplemetary, or any of
thrm and their issue, according to the terms and provisi-
Provso.    ons of the said original act : Provided, that nothilkg here-
in contained shall be construed to interfere with, or affect
the rights of any person or persons acquired before tile
passage of this act.

third cents, current money for his salary.

tegro,     hlyof Maryland, That the said Isaac S. Swearingen be,
and he is hereby authorised aud empovered at any time
within twelve months after the passage of this aet, to re-
move andl bring into this state, a certain negro boy nam-
ed Dennis, that he now has a bona fide absolute right
unto, in the same manner that he might or could have
done at the time of his own removal into this state, any
ametobere- law to the contrary nntwithstanding.
