Malng appropriations for the General Expenses of the State, for the fiscal year ending the
thirty-first day of March, eighteen hundred and sixty-one.
Appropriation.  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State <f
Louisiana, in General Assembly conrened, That the following sums be, and
they are hereby appropriated for the following purposes, for the fiscal year
commencing on the first day of April, eighteen hundred and sixty, and end-
ing on the thirty-first day of March, eighteen hundred and sixty-one:
For the salary of the Governor, under Act number three hundred and
nine, of eighteen hundred and fifty-five, four thousand dollars, $4,000.
For the salary of the Secretary of State, under Act number two hundred
and seventy-three, of eighteen hundred and fifty-five, two thousand dol-
lars, $2,000.
For the salary of State Treasurer, under Act number three hundred and
twenty-five, of eighteen hundred and fifty-five, twenty-five hundred dol-
lars, $2,500.
For the salary of Auditor of Public Accounts, under Act number one
hundred and nineteen, of eighteen hundred and fifty-five, four thousand
dollars, $4,000.
For the salary of the Clerk of Secretary of State's office, appropriation
bill, one thousand dollars, $1,000.
For the salary of the ;tate Superintendent of Public Education, under
Act number three hundred and twenty-one, of eighteen hundred and fifty-
five, two thousand five hundred dollars, $2,500.
For the salary of Attorney General, under Act number six, of eighteen
Jundred and fifty-five, thirty-five hundred dollars, 83,500.
