To authorize Leonollo LeBlane, of Donaldsouville, Louisiana, to ratify and make good
and valid, the sales of certain slaves.
Be it enaded by the Senate and Houae of Representatives of the State of
.1ri. L. LeImlanc Luisimus in General Asscniliy conrened, That from the passing of this
wkis tocr Act, Leonclle LeBlanc, of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, wife of Pierre
ta slaves.  C. Neitzerroff he and she is hereby authorized, with the assent and
assistance of her husband, to ratify and make good and valid, the
sales of the slaves, Logue, Solomon and William, being dotal pro-
perty of said Mrs. NeitzerroT

Relative to Justices of the Peace in and for the parish of St Martin.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and Ifouse of Representalives
rfih of st. of the State of Louisians. in General Assembly coni-ened, That. the parish
Mrt'n dlvtded, of St. lartin shall be divided into four wards fur Justices of the
ito Four W~ards.   atlsil
Peace, as follows, to wit:
FIRST WARD.
First Wrd.  That the First Ward Shall havc the following linits, to wit: IThe
whole lower line of the parish froni Crand Lake to the point where
it strikes the parish of Vermillion, following the Luke shore to the
upper line of A. B. Dautrive's plantation, thence a straight line to
the Bayou Tchc, intersecting the same at the upper line of Widow
Declouet's plantation, and following tho west side of said bayou up
to the upper line of Dr. Peeble's plantation ; thence a line across
Lake Tasse, striking the lower limit of Deblanc's Cotean plantation,
and running from that point to meet the dividing line of the parishes
of Lafayette and Vermillion.
SECOND WARD.
Mecomd Ware.  That the Second Ward shall have the following limits, is : The
whole upper line of the First Ward, the western line of the parish
