ScoIN 1. Be it enacted by the Senate an(l House of Repre-
seitatives of the Slate of Lowuisiana, in Gencral Assembly c on-

Districts.       Sma. 2. Be it further enacted, 4-c., That all that part of the
State south of the thirty-first degree of north latitude, and cast of the
Mississippi river, shall constitute the First District; all that part bouth
of the thirty-first degree of north latitude, and west of the Mississippi
river, shall constitute the Second District; and all that part of the
State north of the thirty-first degree of north latitude, and west of the
Mississippi river, including the parishes of Avoyclles and R1apides,
shall constitute the 'hird District.

Thertermofoice. Land Conunissioners.  The commissioners shall hold their oflice for
the term of two years, and until their successors shall be clialified,
unless superceded by the Board of Public Works provided by theo
Constitution.
