Allowing compensation to jurors in the fotrth Judicial District.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa.
tives of the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That

said fourth judicial district, shall be allowed the sum of one dollar and
fifty cents, for each day he shall attend such court, and the sum of five
cents for every mile he shall necessarily travel in going to and return-
ing from the courthouse: Provided, that mileage shall in no ease be
allowed to a juror for more than once going to and returning from
the court during the same term.
Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, 4.c., That it shall be the duty of
the several clerks of courts in said fourth judicial district, immediately
