M. c., of the city of New Orleans, commissioned by Wm. C. C. Claiborne, on the twelfth of October, eighteen hundred and twelvo, as Second Lieutenant of the li4ttalion of Militia, composed of certain chosen men of color, be, and h.is hereby allowed, during his natural life-time, a monthly allowance of ten dollars, payable monthly. on the warrant of said Etienne Saulet, out o'f any monies in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
