SECT. 4. Be it further enacted, dfc. That the said Corpora-

exceeding the limits of their charter any sum or sums ofmoney
that may be deemed necessary or proper for carrying into effect
the object of this act of incorporation.
SECT. 5. And be it further enacted, dyc. That this Act
nof the shall be in force for twenty years from and after its passage
and ap- and no longer, and that the sum of fifteen hundred dollars be
ns.    and is herely appropriated for the purpose of aiding in erecting
a suitable building for the said Academy, the same to be paid on
the warrant of the President of the board of Trustees out of any
money in the Tresury not otherwise appropriated.

minors Emily M. and Alelissa James Cliancy-to remove certain pro.
porty from the State of IMississipi.
Be it enacted by the Senate and Hbouse of Representatives
of the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That
Henrietto E. Johnson and William White, co-tutors of the
minors Emily AI. and Melissa Jane Chancy be and they are
hereby authorised to remove cloven slaves, the heriditary pro-
perty of the said minors, to the State of Mississpi, so soon as
they shall furnish to the Orphans Court of the county of Wash-
ington, in the State of Alississipi, good and sufficient security,
to protect the interests of said minors; and shall cause a certi-
fied copy of their bond to be duly recorded in the office of the
parish juge of the parish of West Feliciana in the State of Loui-
siana.
