entitled to enjoy the privileges contained in this section.

AN ACT
Granting certain powers, in the State of Louisiana, to the Bank of the
State of Mississippi.
SECT. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re-
presentatives of the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly
convened, That the Bank of the State of Mississippi in the
Bank authoriz- name of the President of the Bank of the State of Mississip-
trr r anas- pi, be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to accept
tate and slaves any act or acts, sale or sales, which have been or may here-
after be made to it, or to any agent or trustee appointed by it
of all the property hereinafter described, to wit: A certain
plantation, situate in the parish of Concordia, about nine
miles above the town of Vidalia, and bounded on the upper
side by lands owned by Ambrose Foster, and on the lower
side by lands belonging to the heirs of Joseph Harrison, con-
taining four hundred and ninety-two and a half American
acres and commonly known by the name of the Rifle Point
Plantation; also, all horses, mules, oxe, stock-cattle, hogs,
farming utensils and all property, immoveable by destina-
tion, thereunto attached, or in any wise appertaining; also,
the following Slaves, to wit: Cato, London, Jack, Jim, Eve,
Lucy, Sally and child named Sally, Dick, Suky, Memory
Bill, Hannibal, Moses, Peter, Critty, Eli, Enock, Little'
Jack, Nicholas and Harry, and the said Bank is hereby
made capable, in law of having and holding, in the name of
