Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives oj the State of Louisiana, in General .dssem- 6y4convened, That our senators and representatives in the congress of the United States, are requested to re- present to the general government, the necessity of making such arrangements with the Mexican govern- ment, by which the inhabitants of this state will have the right of reclaiming their slaves when found on the Mexican territory.
