And be it further enacted, That the said rector, tobe chosen as churchwardeis, and vestrymen, shall choose five discreet per. manr o sons, who shall act as managers of said lotfery, to make bondandsecu-schemes for said lotteiy, to sign and sell the tickets, superim- rity. tend the'drawing thereof, and to pay the prizes drawn therein; which said managers shall give bend and security to the gov- ernor of the state, to bli. by bun approved, in the sum of twenty thousand dollars, conditioned for the faithful perform- ance of the duties required of them by this act. Lottery to Sec 7. And be it further enacted, That'the lottery afore- bedividedinto said shall be divided into one or more classes as may be classes'. deemed expedient by the managers thereof, not exceeding four, who shall have power to destroy all the unsold tickets of the class about to be drawn, and to reduce the prizes to be drawn for therein, in proportion to the number destroyed, and to commence and carry on a second, third, and fourth class until the before mentioned sum of ten thousand dollars shall be raised by said lottery.
