Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the state of Lounsiana, in general assoinbly convened, That the clerics of the police juries of the several parishes of this state, shall have the right of demanding for the certificates of authorization of emancipation of slaves, they shall deliver in that capacity, the same emoluments as the clerks of parish courts-have the right of demanding torsimilar services.
