And be it further enacted, That the com- spaid. missioners composing the board aforesaid shall be entitled to no salary, but that their travelling ex- penses, and all other expenses attending the orga- nization and operations of the board shall be paid out of the funds hereinafter appropriated, on the warrants of the Governor. Salaries of Sec. 5. And be it further enacted, That the said the engineers board shall be authorized to allow to such engi- neers or other agents by them employed, such sa- lary or compensation as they shall deem reasona- ble and proportionate to the services by them ren- dered, which salaries shall be paid out of the fund hereinafter provided, on the warrants of the Go- vernor. Quorum. Sec. 6. And be it further enacted, That three of the said commissioners, with the Governor, shall constitute a quorum to proceed to business. Sec. 7. And be it further enacted, That for the sum atpro. purpose of meeting the expenses above mentioned, a sum not exceeding nine thousand dollars be and the same is hereby set apart out of any funds in the state treasury not otherwise appropriated.
