Be itierther (nacted, That the inscription an or- thereon be as follows, to wit: Presented by the State of Louisiana to the Batallion of Artillery of New Orleans, 1826, which shall be included with- in an elliptical figure formed by stars on one side of the drapeau, in its centre, and on each angle thereof within twined wreaths the words - Honor Valor - Country c, Discipline with a vignette extending around the border, according to a draft presented herewith; on the reverse the foregoing inscription in French. Sum appro. Sec. 3. .1tJd be it further enacted, That, in addition theae oe. to the sum already appropriated by law for the purpose of furnishing stands of colors to the differ- ent battalions and regiments, the Governor is here- by authorized to draw on the Treasurer of the State for the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars to defray the necessary expense in providing the said stand of colors.
