handle is hein.slavery/ssactsla0116 and id is 1 raw text is: ( 1580). ibe board of Trustees, payable to the President of the said Board and his successors in oflice, conditioned for the faith- fll discharge of his trust, shall be auithorized to draw from the State Treasury, quarterly, in four equal instalments, upon the warrant of the President and three other Trustees, the sum appropriated by this act for the support of the Col- lege, and to receive all other sums of money accruing to said College, and other property sent or delivered to his care, and shall pay or deliver over to the order of said Board signed by the Secretary and countersigned by the President of said Board, and when required by said Board, shall render an account of all money or other property which shall have been paid or delivered to him; and in case the said Treasurer shall refuse or neglect to render such account, or to pay or deliver over any money or pro- perty in his possession when thereto legally required, it shall be lawful for the President of said Board, on giving ten days notice to the said Treasurer, on motion before any district or parish judge to recover such judgment or decree as the case may require. SECT. 8.
