faithful performance of their duties in lieu of the ibriner
sum which they were bound to give bond for, and it shall
be the duty of the State Treasurer to take such bond.,
Ile pealin  SEcT. 5. And be it further enacted, That all acts, and
clalue.   parts of acts coining within the purview of this act, be, and
the same are hereby repealed.

AN ACT
Supplementary to the several acts relative to the Congregation of the
Catholic Church of the Parish of Assumption, County of Lufourche.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
of the State of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That
instead of making a general election of Church Wardens
or trustees of the said Church, as is prescribed by the third
section of the act to which this is a supplement, approved
March 14th 1822, the election of two Church Wardens or
Trustees drawn by lots, shall be begun over again, to be re
placed in such manner that the rotation established shall not
be interrupted.

of the State of Louisiana in General .1lssemblyl convened,
That Hanna, free woman of color, living in the Parish of
St. Mary, Attakapas, he and is hereby authorised to eman-
cipate her two children; named Hl61mc and Catherine, after
the usual advertisements, if no opposition is made to the
said emancipation by persons interested.
