justice in the parish of . Feliciana, and for other purposes,
apploved on the 25th February 1813 be, and the same is
hereby' repealed; and that the police jury of said-paishh
shall 'not haie power to'fix on a seat ofijstice tor the afore-
said parish, until the sense of the people is known as to the
expediency-of diidiig said -parish, any thing to the con-
tlary notwithstanding.

SECT. 1. lBe it enacted by the senate and house of repre-
senltkves of the state of Louisiania, in general a.ssambly

SECT 2.  nd be it further enacted, That in such o
eppraisement of threearishe aforesaid wherein the appraisement of ip-
slaves made , in  roveable property and the enumeration of slaves ordained
1811 to be valid,  by the first section of the act to which this is an amendment
has not taken place if an appraisement of immoveable pro-
perty and enumeration of slaves was made out during the
year one thousand eight hundred and eleven for the appor.
