1865.                       CHAPTER 703.
AN ACT for the benefit of Willian, McClure, of Rockenstle County.
Be it enacted byj the General Asscib4 of th Commonwcalih of
Kcniuc,/ :
§ 1. That further time, until the fist day of June, 1865,
be, and the same is hereby, allowed William McClure, Into
sheriff of Rockeastle county, to return his delinquent list
for the year 1864.
§ 2. This act shall take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 794.
AN ACT fior the benefit of Jolo Locke, late Shcriffof Davless County,
Be it enacted bil the Gencral Assimbly of the Conmonwcalth
of Kentukqk:
§ 1. That the further time of two years, from and after
the passage of this act, be allowed John Locke, late sheriff
of Daviess county, to collect his fee bills and uncollected
taxes, during which time said fee bills and taxes may be
distrained for as now provided by law; said Locke shall
be liable-to all the pains and p,'nalties prescribed by law
for the issual or collecting of ilivgal fee bills or taxes.
§ 2. This act shall take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 795.
AN ACT for tbe benefit of Rebecca Warren, administratrim of Green D.
Warren, deceased.
Wn IVEAs, There was committed to the county jail of Rus-
sell county, on the 10th day of November, 1862, by due
process of law, a runaway slave by the name of James
Madi.n, and described in the order of commitment as the
property of one Baxter Butler, of the State of Louisiana;
and whereas, said slave was kept and dieted in said jail
one hundred and thirty-two days, by Green 13. Warren, the
then jailer of said county, who was entitled by law to the
sum of forty cents per day as compensation for keeping
and dieting; and whereas, on the 20th day of March, 1863,
said slave was taken by force and arms from said jail, :Ind
carried off by a band of rebel cavalry, thereby depriving
said jailer of' his fees for dieting and keeping said slave;
and whereas, said Green B. Warren departed this life in
