1865.    officers, shall conform to it, and in so/doing they shall be as

§ 2. 'This act shall take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 1270.
AN ACT to amend an act, entitled An act changing the times and terms of
holding the Circuit Courts in the Twelfth Judicial District, approved March
lot, lb6o.
• Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonweallth of
Kentuck y:
§ 1. That the circuit courts in the following counties of the
A.tv 1830-0,,p. twelfth judicial district shall hereafter be held at the times
and fbr the numtber of days hereinafter specified, instead of the
times now fixed by law:
In the county of Breathitt, on the third M ondays in MaIty
Dwaetbitt.  and October, and continue six judicial days each term,
In the county of Owsloy, on the fburth Mondays in May
OWsloj.     and October, the spring term to continue twelve judicial days,
the fill term six; but, when October has five Mondays, thu fall
term shall continuo twelve judicial days.
In the county of Estill, on thb Mondays next succeeding tho
Etll.,    expiration of the terms of the Owsloy circuit court, and con-
tinuo twelve judicial days each term.
In the county of Jackson, on the Mondays next succeeding
Jaekion.    the expiration of the terms of the Estill circuit court, and con-
tinue six judicial days each term.
In the county of Clay, on the Mondays next succeeding tho
CUW.        expiration of the terms of the Jackson circuit court, and con-
tinue twelve judicial days each term.
§ 2. This act shall take effect from its passage; but nothing
herein shall be construed as repealing the 3d section of tho
act to which this is an amendment.

CHAPTER 1273.
AN ACT to approprifto money.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Comnionwealth
of Kentucky:
§ 1. That the following sums of money are hereby appro-
priated to the fbllowing persons, to be paid by the Treasurer
out of any money not otherwise appropriated, upon the war-
rant of the Auditor:
To the Speakers of Senate and House of Representatives,
eight dollars per day during the present adjourned session of
iho General Assembly.
To the principal Clerks of the Senate and Ifouso of Repre-
sontatives, each ten dollars for the same time as the Speakers
