§ 5. That the provisions of section 5, chapter 1800, acts 1865,  1866.
entitled An act for the benefit of the Kentucky Institution 1      Act,
for the Education of the Deaf and Dumb at Danville, approv- p. 138.
ed June 3d, 1865, shall apply to this Institution.
§ 6. This act shall be in force from its passage.

CHAPTER 711.
AN ACT to abolish the December term of the Nicholas Circuit Court for the
trial of equity causes.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of
Kentucky:
That the December term of the Nicholas circuit court for
the trial of equity causes, be, and the same is hereby, abolish-
ed.
Approved February 17, 1866.
CHAPTER 717.
AN ACT appropriating money.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of
Kentucky:
§ 1. That the following sums of money are hereby appro-
•priated to the following persons, to be paid by the Treasurer
out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated,
upon the warrant of the Auditor, to-wit:
§ 2. To the Speakers of the Senate and House of Represent-
atives, eight dollars per day each during the present session
of the General Assembly.
§ 3. To the principal Clerks of the Senate and House of
Representatives, each ten dollars per day during the session,
and the same for fifteen days after the adjournment, for pre-
paring the acts for publication, and arranging the papers of
these respective Houses.
§ 4. To the Assistant Clerks, each ten dollars per day dur-
ing the present session.
§ 5. To the Sergeant-at-Arms, each six dollars per day dur-
ing the present session.
§ 6. To the Door-keepers, each six dollars per day during
the present session.
§ 7. To N. A. Rapier, Sergeant-at-Arms of the House of
Representatives, for the two servants in waiting on the Iouse
of' Representatives during the present session, two dollars
each per day.
8. To J. W. Pruett, for the service of one servant in wait-
ing on the Senate during the present session, two dollars per
day.
, 9. To the pages of the Senate and House of Representa-
ti-es, two dollars and fifty ceuts each per day during the pres-
ent session.
