1864.    and as 'such is hereby made capable of inheriting property,
and enjoying all the rights and privileges to which she
would in anywise have been entitled had she been born in
lawful wedlock.
§ 2. This act shall take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 262.
AN ACT for the benefit of Nelson Flint, a man of color.
Whereas, Maria Flint, a free woman, died the owner of
her son, Nelson Flint, and some estate besides, all of which
would escheat to the State-therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky:
§ 1. That the administrator of Maria Flint, late of Jef-
ferson county, is hereby directed to emancipate Nelson
Flint, saving the rights of Maria Flint's creditors; and said
Nelson Flint is hereby, when so emancipated, made capa-
ble of taking his mother's estate as heir and distributee:
Proi',ided however, That the said Nelson Flint, upon his
emancipation as aforesaid, shall be subject to all the laws
now in force in relation to persons of his class and condi-
tion.
§ 2. That this act shall take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 264.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Town of Hammonville, Hart
County.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of
Kentucky:
§ 1. That the act, entitled, An act to incorporate the
town of Hammonville, approved February 18th, 1860, be
so amended as to only require the election of three trustees
instead of five.
§ 2. This act shall take effect from its passage.
