CIHAPTER 508.                        1864.
AN ACT to amend the 6th section of an act passed the 19th Decermber,
1861, entitled, a,, act to aicrd the law in relation to Runaway
Slaves.
Be it enacted by the Gencral Assembly of the Common wealth of
Kentucky:
§ 1. That if a slave makes his escape frnom a county ad-  Acts 186-,

Tennessee line, and is arrested in said last named county,
and delivered to the owner, or lodged in the jail of said
1at named county, the reward tor taking up said slave
shall be twenty dollars.

AN ACT to amend an act, entitled, An act to authorize the suspension
of circuit courts in certain cases.
[This bill passed the House of Representatives, and was
disagreed to in the Senate, but by mistake was enrolled,
and signed by the speakers of the two Houses, and ap-
proved by the Governor. For a law on the same subject,
see chapter 571.]

AN ACT to establish a Clait Agency for Kentucky in the city of
Washiigton.
Be it enactcd by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky:
