1864.                          CHAPTER 483.
AN ACT to amend an act, entitled, An act Concerning Runaway
Slaves, approved 3d of March, 1863.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
Act 1861t-23, of Kentucky:

§ 3. That it shall be the duty of the county court clerk,

§ 4. That all money received by the sheriffs under sales

§ 5. Any sheriff or clerk failing to comply with the pro-

NOTE-The act to which this is an amendment was ap-

CHAPTER 485.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Bardstown and Louisville Rail
road Company.
Whereas, there is adecree to sell said road with all its
Priateacta chartered rights and privileges, and also its estate, real and
ls-4,p.55l.  personal. to pay the sum of thirty thousand dollars with its
Preamble.  interest-being the amount of mortgage bonds issued by
the president and directors of said road. Some of the
holders of said bonds, who have obtained said decree, in-
tend to enforce it with a view and fbr the purpose to pur-
chase said road, and may, as a consequence, remove the
iron rail of said road, and consequently render said road
useless. The president and directors of said road desire
that said road, (though not profitable to the present stock-
