AN ACT to amend an act incorporating the town of Burksville.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky:
§ 1. That all that portion of Cumberland county extend-

ters of a mile from said court-house, shall be, and is hereby,
declared to be the town of Burksville, and as such, by that
name shall be capable in law of contracting and being con-
tracted with, of suing and being'sued, of answering and
being answered in all matters whatever, and in all courts
and places.
§ 2. That the fiscal, prudential, and municipal concerns

four trustees, board of trustees, and four trustees, who shall be elected on
the first Saturday in May, in each year, in the manner
hereinafter prescribed, and shall hold their offices until
their successors have been duly elected and qualified, all
of whom shall have attained to the age of twenty-one
years, and resided in said town one year next before their
election.
§ 3. That on the first Saturday in May next, there shall
