1860.    that the Mercer county court is authorized to subscribe five
hundred dollars per mile in Mercer county.
§ 3. This act to take effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 704.
AN ACT for the benefit of Horatio G. Creekmore, of Whitley county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky:
§ 1. That Horatio G. Creekmore be, and he is hereby,
exonerated from any and all liability under the ninety-
third chapter and second article of the Revised Statutes
for having purchased and brought into this State, from the
State of Tennessee, a negro woman and her child; and he
is hereby permitted to sell said slave at either public or
private sale, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
§ 2. This act shall take effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 705.
AN ACT for the benefit of Frank Garrett.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky:
That the further time of two years be allowed Frank
Garrett, late clerk of the Morgan county court, to issue his
fee bills for former services rendered by him as such ; and
which, when so issued, shall have the same force and effect,
and shall be so collectable, as if issued within the time pre-
scribed by law: Provided, That before he exercise the
power given by this act, he shall execute bond, with good
security, to be approved by the clerk in the Morgan county
court clerk's office, conditioned for, and binding him to
observe and comply with the laws of this State concerning
the issuing and collecting of fee bills.
