and Beaver Turnpike Road Company, shall be the law       1856.
governing the company that may be formed under this act,
except so far as its provisions are hereby changed and are
local; and the President and Directors are hereby vested
with all thepowers, privileges, and immunities given to
the President and Directors by said act.
5. This act shall be in force fiom its passage.

CHAPTER 122.
AN ACT to authorize the County Court of Madison to sell the poor house
lands in said county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky:
§ 1. That the County Court of Madison is hereby authorized
and empowered to appoint commissioners to sell and con-
vey the poor house lands belonging to said county, and
reinvest the proceeds of said sale in other lands in said
county for poor house purposes, and receive atitle therefor,
in such manner and upon such terms as said court may
order and direct, a majority of all the Justices of said court
concurring therein.
§ '2. That this act shall be in force from and after its
passage.

CHAPTER 123.
AN ACT for the benefit of James T. Garnett, of Christian county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky:
That James T. Garnett, of Christian county, shall have
the further time of sixty days from the passage of this act
to enable him to make a registration of the slaves owned
by him and brought into this State by him at the time of
his imigration, and to take the oath required by article
second, chapter 93, of tile Revised Statutes.
