1856.                             CHAPTER 716.
AN ACT to repeal all acts to license billiard tables, bowling saloons, and
Jenny Lind tables.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kenturlqy:
That all laws authorizing the establishment of billiard
tables, bowling saloons, and Jenny Lind tables, in this
State, be and the same arc hereby repealed. (a)

CHAPTER 720.
AN ACT to amend the law In relation to crimes and punishments.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of J~entuclky:
§ 1. That the third section, of.the seventh article, of
Uo,.Slat.  . chapter twenty-eight, of the Revised Statutes, be amend-
ed as follows: If any person, whether white person, free
Po0any for negro, or slave, or other person, wilfully and unlawfully
burnig wago),  9
buc.  W      burn any wagon, cart, or other vehicle, loaded or unloaded,
with intent to destroy said vehicle or the matter with which
the same may be loaded, such person shall be punished in
the same manner as prescribed in said third section for the
offenses therein specified: Provided, That if the ollender
be a slave, he shall be punishled by any number of stripes
not exceeding one hundred.
§ 2. This act shall take effect from and after its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 724.
AN ACT to amend chapter 7, section 1, of the Revised Statutes.
Be it enacted 1,, the General AssemblNj of the Commonwealth
of Kentuclq j:

Rev. Stat. 143.  or priority of lien on the boat or vessel, her engine, tackle,
furnishing, and apparel, for their bills for advertising and
job work done fbr said boat or vessel that is now    given
by section 1, chapter 7, of the Revised States, to me-
chanics, tradesmen, and others.
Approved March 10, 1856.
(a) See supplemental act, chap. 593, suspending the operation of the repeal
to those who bad obtained license until March 1, 1857.
