§3. That the commissioners of common schools for the   1851.
county of Monroe may now make out and file with the     Monroe.
superintendent of public instruction a special report, show-
ing the statistics of school district No. 19, in said county;
and the said superintendent shall, upon such special report
being filed with him, draw his draft upon the second au-
ditor for the amount to which said district may be entitled
by her numbers, according to the rates fixed for each child
at school for the last year.

CHAPTER 476.
AN ACT for the benefit of Green Adams.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That for the purpose of compensating Green
Adams for his services as prosecuting attorney at the fall
term, 1849, of the Harlan circuit court, the second auditor
be and he is hereby directed to issue his warrant on the
treasurer for twenty dollars, to be paid out of any money in
the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

CHAPTER 477.
AN ACT to allow John A. Hunt, of Laurel county, to vend goods, wares,
and merchandise without license.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That John A. Hunt, of Laurel county, be and
he is hereby permitted to vend his goods, wares, and mer-
chandise as a peddler, in any county of this state, without
the payment of the tax now required by law of peddlers :
Provided, that the privilege hereby granted shall not be ex-
ercised for the benefit of any other person, either directly
or indirectly : And, provided firther, that said Hunt shall be
liable to all the penalties imposed by law for retailing
spirits, or dealing unlawfully with slaves.

CHAPTER 478.
AN ACT for the benefit of the Sheriff of Rockeastle county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That John Rowan Henderson, sheriff of Rock-
castle county, be and he is hereby allowed until the last
day of May, 1851, to return his delinquent list for the reve-
nue of 1850.
Approved March 20, 1851.
