WE, the representatives of the peop!e of the State of Ken-  Preamble.
tucky, in Convention assembled, to secure to all the citizens
thereof the enjoyment of the rights of life, liberty, and
property, and of puisuing happiness, do ordain and estab-
lish this Conistitution for its government.
ARTICLE FIRST.
