Approved March 22, 1851. CHAPTER 617. AN ACT to revisethe statutes. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, That the following chapters of the revised statutes of this commonwealth be adopted, and that they shall become the law of the land and take effect on the first day of July, 1852. CHAPTER I. HUSBAND AND WIFE. ARTICLE I. Marriage. § 1.
