CHAPTER 479.                        1849.
AN ACTto amend the charter of the Lancaster and Crab Orchard
Turnpike Road Company.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Common-

the aforesaid Lancaster and Crab Orchard Turnpike Road,

of said stock to be limited according to their own discre-
tion.

James M. Bryant, James H. Yantis, and David Anderson,
of Garrard county; Thomas Buford, Robert Graham, Hi-
ram Roberts, John Owsley, Henry Davenport, of Lincoln
county.

CHAPTER 480.
AN ACT for the benefit of J. M. Martin, administrator of Ephraim
Ball, deceased.
WHEREAS, Ephraim Ball, who died intestate, was the
owner of a tract of one hundred acres of land, one undivi-
ded half part of a tract of fifty acres, both situate in Mon-
roe county, in this State, on the Cumberland river; and an-
other tract of land and some slaves and personal estate;
and it is represented that said personal estate is not suffi-
cient to pay the debts against his estate, and that it would
be more beneficial to his estate that said tract of one hun-
dredi acres, and the undivided half of the fifty acre tract
should be sold to raise means to pay the debts of said es-
tate, than to sell said slaves. Therefore,
