Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth  1849.
of Kentucky, That one additional Justice of the Peace shall
be allowed to Hopkins county, who may reside in the cur-
tail; and, upon the happening of the first vacancy there-
after, the number of Justices for said county shall be reduced
one.
Approved February 26, 1849.
CHAPTER 475.
AN ACT granting a change of venue to James May.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That a change of venue is granted to James
May, who stands indicted in the Washington Circuit Court,
under a charge of passing counterfeit money, to the Boyle
Circuit Court, in pursuance of an act, entitled, an act pro-
viding for a change of venue in criminal cases, approved
February 23d, 1846.

CHAPTER 476.
AN ACT for the benefit of John R. Thornton and Richard Kenning-
ham, Trustees.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That John R. Thornton and Richard Kenning-
ham, Trustees of Mary Antonia Kenningham, infant daugh-
ter, and Benj. Kenningham, infant son of Benj. Kenning-
ham, deceased, may exhibit their petition before the Judge
of the Bourbon Circuit Court, praying for the sale of a ne-
gro girl slave named Mary, who constitutes a part of the
trust property in their hands; and if it shall appear to the
satisfaction of the Court, that it will redound to the interest
of the cestui que trusts, for a sale of said slave to be made,
a decree shall be entered to that effect; and such other and
further orders shall be made as may be deemed advisable
to protect the interest of all parties concerned.

AN ACT for the benefit of William and John Chiles, of Estill
Springs.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That Messrs. William and John Chiles, the
proprietors of Estill Springs, in the county of Estill. be
and they are hereby authorized and permitted to put up,
and erect, at said Spring,-or upon any of the grounds im-
