1849.                         CHAPTER 260.
AN ACT for the benefit of Alonzo Livermore and Jacob Yost.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Com-
2d Auditor nu- monwealth of Kentucky, That the Second Auditor issue his

to the mill of John Leander and H. G. Mitchell, by the
slackwater, Dam No. 1, on Barren river, which sum shall be
paid by the Treasurer out of any money in the Treasury

SEc. 2. That the' Second Auditor issue his warrant on
Authorizes the Treasurer, in favor of Jacob Yost, of Logan county,
warrant to Yost for the sum of five dollars, for services rendered by him as
assessor of damages done to the mill of John Leander and
H. G. Mitchell, by slackwater, Dam No. 1., on Barren river,
which sum shall be paid out of any money in the Treas-
ury not otherwise appropriated.

CHAPTER 261.
AN ACT to extend to the county of Fayette the provisions of an act
further to provide for the appointment of Patrols in this Common-
wealth, approved February 18, 1841, and for other purposes.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Corn-
Portion of act monwealth of Kentucky, That all the provisions of an act,

1841, with the exception of the fourth and eleventh sec-
tions thereof, shall be, and the same are hereby declared
to be in full force in the county of Fayette, so far as the
same can be made applicable; and the County Court of
said county, and all others appointed by them, or acting
under their authority, shall be governed by the provisions
of said recited act, with the exceptions aforesaid.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That the County Court of
