1849.   renton S. Bland, who stands indicted in the Madison Circuit
Court, under a charge of arson, to the county of Washing-
ton, in pursuance to the provisions of an act prescribing
the n)ode for a change of venue in criminal cases, approved
February 23d, 1846.

CHAPTER 247.
AN ACT for the benefitof John Fible, of Oldham county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That Second Auditor is hereby directed to
issue his warrant on the Treasurer, in favor of John Fible,
of Oldham county, for the sum of one hundred and six dol-
lars and forty cents, being the amount paid by him in ef-
fecting the capture and consequent conviction of William
Bennett, on a charge of felony, for which offence he is now
confined in the jail and penitentiary of this State.

CHAPTER 248.
AN ACT to amend an act for the benefit of the children, and heirs at
law, of Louisa Dunnington, approved March 1, 1848.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That an act, entitled, an act for the benefit of
the children, and heirs at law, of Louisa Dunnington, ap-
proved March 1, 1848, be and the same is so amended as
to read Levisa, instead of Louisa.
Approved February 19, 1849.
CHAPTER 249.
AN ACT for the benefit of the devisees of Rolla Blue.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Com-
monwealth of Kentucky, That all the slaves who are benefi-
ciaries in the trust created by the last will of Rolla Blue, de-
ceased, (a free man of color,) may, in conjunction with their
several owners, be parties, either complainants or defend-
ants, to any suit or suits which may have been, or may
hereafter be, brought in relation to said trust or will.
SEC. 2. That if any of said slaves be unknown, they
may be proceeded against by warning order, in the same
manner as is now by law provided for proceedings against
unknown heirs: Provided, That the same affidavits shall
be made, previous to entering such warning order, as is re-
quired in cases of unknown heirs.
