Approved February 28, 1848. CHAPTER 429. AN ACT to authorize the Court of Appeals of the 49th Regiment of Kentucky Militia to hear appeals in certain cases. SEc. 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of the Com- CourtAppeals monwealth of Kentucky, That it shall be the duty of the to hear excuses. Court of Appeals of the 49th Regiment of Kentucky Mili- tia, at their next regular term, to hear and determine all appeals from fines assessed by the Court of Assessment held for said Regiment i4 the years 1845 and 1846, under the same rules and regulations as for fines assessed in 1847 ; and said Court shall have the same jurisdiction and authority to hear and determine all excuses offered for de- linquencies, in the years 1845 and 1846, as for those of 1847. SEC. 2. That it shall be the duty of the commandants of Commandants companies of said Regiment, respectively, at their several of companies to mses oifr notify compa.
