CHAPTER 453.                            1847
AN ACT to regulate the price of vacant land. In Clay county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That from and after the passage of this act, the
price of vacant lands in the county of Clay shall be two dol.
lars and fifty cents per hundred acres, and no more.
Approved March 1, 1847.
CHAPTER 45.1.
AN ACT to extend the Constable's District, which includes the town or
Frnnkfort.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of tie Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That the Constable's District, which, at present,
includes the town of Frankfort, shall br so extended as to in-
clude the present residence of John Morris, on the Kentucky
river, below the town of Frankfort.
Approved March 1, 1847.
CHAPTER 455.
AN ACT to extend the mcchnnics' lien law of the city of Louisville to the
counties of Bourbon, Christian, Livingston, Shelby, Scott, Carroll, Franklin,
Gallatin, and Clarke.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Common wealth
of Kentucky, That the lien given to the mechanics of the city
of Louisville, by law, shall be and the same is hereby extended
to tile mechanics, and others, performing labor and furnishing
materials, in the construction and repair of buildings, in the
counties of Bourbon, Christian, Livingston, Shelby, Scott,
Franklin, Gallatin, Clarke, and Carroll, as fully mid completely
as though the said law had been expressly enacted for their
benefit.

CHAPTER 458.
AN ACT for the benefit of Jacob Corbett.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That the further time of five years be allowed
to Jacob Corbett to pay a bond executed by       Richards,
and said Corbett as security, for the sum of six hundred dol-
lars, payable to the Commonwealth for the purchase price of
a negro boy named Stapleton, sold as a runaway, out of the
Ballard county jail, which bond is now on file in the Ballard
Circuit Court Clerk's oflice; Provided, That said Corbett shall
enter into bond, with one or more sureties, before the Circuit
Court of said county, with such penalty and conditions as may
be required by said Court, at the next term thereof.
