1847                           CHAPTER 393.
..      ..       AN ACT far the benefit of Harriet and Anderson R. Murray.
SEc. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Com.
monwealth of Kentucky, That Harriet Murray be and she is
hereby divorced from her husband, Anderson It. Murray, and
that she be and is hereby restored to all the rights and priv-
ileges of an unmarried woman, and to her maiden name of
Harriet Reynolds.
SEc. 2. Be it further enacted, That Anderson R. Murray
be and he is hereby divorced from his wife, Harriet Murray,
and restored to all the rights and privileges of an unmarried
man.

CHAPTER 394.
AN ACT for the benefit of Thomas D. llonaker and David Robinson, of Pike
county, and for other purposes.
SEc. I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Corn.
monwealth of Kentucky, That the Second Auditor is hereby
authorized to issue his warrant on the Treasury, in favor of
Thos. D. Honaker, for the sum of one hundred and twenty
dollars, as a compensation for the apprehension of Edmund, a
slave, and Harbet White, a free man of color, both of whom
had fled, one to the State of Ohio and the other to Virginia,
and who were indicted on a charge of arson and murder:
Provided, That said Honaker shall pay David Robinson, who
accompanied said Honaker to Virginia, and aided in the ar-
rest of Edmund, a slave, a fair compensation for his services.
Src. 2. Be it further enacted, That E. W. Murphy and
William Sibert be allowed the sum of thirty dollars from
the Treasury, it being the amount expended in bringing in from
the State of Virginia a slave, Owen, who, for a crime com-
mitted, had fled, and was apprehended in Washington county,
Virginia, and said slave is now confined in the county jail of
Clay waiting his trial.

CHAPTER 395.
AN ACT for the benefit of William S. Patterson.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That William S. Patterson, Clerk of the Rus-
sell County Court, be and he is hereby released from any lia-
bility on account of issuing licenses to Ephraim Murdock, in
1845, to peddle clocks; the said liability being thirty two dol.
lars thirty cents.
