AN ACT for the benefit of D. J. Dodge.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That it shall be lawful for D. J. Dodge, former-
ly of M Iississippi, to sell in this State a negro man, Edmund,
formerly the property of Conway Oldham, deceased, without
incurring any penalty whatever: Provided, the purchaser
shall, within thirty days after the purchase, make oath before
some Justice of the Peace in the county where he resides, that
ha bought said Edmund for his own use and does not intend
to sell him; which affidavit he shall file with the Clerk of the
County Court of his county for record.

AN ACT to amend an act, entitled, an act to establish a Library Association
at Louisville, approved February 5, 18.19.
WHumtRVs, it is represented to the General Assembly, by
the subscribers, and those who made contributions to the Li-
brary established under the provisions of the act to which this
is an amendment, that in order to place said Library upon a
more solid foundation, to prevent its becoming a loss, and the
better to accomplish the objects contemplated in its fbriration,
it is necessary to make a radical change in the principles upon
which the association has been formed. For remedy whereof,

monwealth of Kentucky, That there shall be and there is here.  Name and
