AN ACT for the benefit of John Moss, of lickmnn county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
qf Kentucky, That John Moss, of Hickman county, be per.
mitted to bring three slaves, now belonging to said Moss, into
this State, which are now in the State Cof Tennessee, without
incurring the penalties of the act of 1833: Provided, Said
Moss shall go before some Justice of the P'eace of Hickman
county, within ten days after bringing said slaves into this
State, and make oath that said slaves (giving a minute descrip.
tion of the same,) were brought into this State for his own use
and not for sale: Provided, further, That said Moss shall be
regarded as violating the act of 1833, and shall be subject to
