1847     said James S. Chrisman's wife; which bond shall be recorded
in the deed book of the Wayne County Court office, and may
be sued on for the use of said Chrisman's wife, or her heirs.

CIIAPTER 96r.
AN ACT for the benefit of the -Surveyor of Marshall county.
WIIEUERS, it is represented to this General Assembly that
Marcus Barnett, the Surveyor of Marshall county, has failed
to renew his official bond as required by law. Therefore,
Sim. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Com-
monwealth of Kentucky, ''hat said Surveyor be permitted to
execute an oflicial bond in the County Court of said county,
with two or more sufliciunt securities, to be approl.ed of by
said Court, with the like penalty and condition as is now re-
quired by law, which bond shall be made payable to the Com-
monwealth of Kentucky, and may be executed at tie April
or May term of said Court in the year 187,, and shall be as
valid to all intents aud purposes as if the same had been exe-
cu'ted at the time and in the manner required by law.
Sic. 2. Be it furlher enacted, That the official acts of said
Surveyor, which he has heretofore done, and may hereafter do,
up to the time of his entering into bond according to the pro.
visions prescribed in the first section of this act, be and the
same are hereby legalized, as though said Surveyor had exe-
cuted bond as required by law.

CHAPTER 99.
AN ACT to amend an act, entitled, an act for the benefit of Susan Ann D.
Young, approved January 21, 1846.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That an act, entitled, an 'aet for the benefit of
Susan Ann D. Young, and her children, approved January
21, 1846, be so amended as to authorize the Chancellor to di.
rect the proceeds of the property therein mentioned to be in-
vested in a farm and negroes in the State of Missouri, to be
conveyed and held according to the terms of the act to which
this is an amendment.
Approved January 30, 1847.
