1847                          CHAPTER 82.
AN ACT for the benefit of the infant heirs of William McKitrick, deceased.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonicealth
of Kentucky, That upon the petition in chancery of the guar-
dian of the infant heirs of William McKitrick, deceased, now
pending in the Washington Circuit Court, verified by the af-
fidavit of said guardian; and if it shall appear from said pe-
tition, amended petition, and Commissioner's report, and from
testimony produced to said court by depositions, that it will
be to tile interest of said heirs, that their interest in the town
lotsin Maxville, Washington county,set out and described in
said petition, amended petition, and Commissioner's report,
should be sold, said court is hereby authorized to (ltcree a sale
thereof; on such terms as the court may deem proper, and di-
rect the proceeds of sale to be appropriated to the payment of
the debts of said William MeKitrick, deceased, or so much
thereof as may be necessary. That said court, in making said
decree, and in securing said infants in the residue of the pro-
ceeds of the sale of said lots, after the payment of the debts
of said William McKitrick, deceased, shall be governed by tie
act approved February 3d, 1S13, entitled, an act vesting ju-
risdiction in the Circuit Courts to authorize the sale of the
real estate of infants in certain cases.

CIJAPTFRt 83.
AN ACT for lhe benefit of John McAfee, of Mercer county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, That it shull and may be lawful for John Mc-
Afee, of Mercer county, to bring a certain negro man slave
named Toni into the county of Mercer, from the State of Mis.
souri, without incurring the penalties of the act of 1833, pro-
hibiting the importation of slaves into this Commonwealth :
Provided, the said McAfee shall, within thirty days thereaf-
ter, take an oath before a Justice of the Peace, that he has
not imported said slave for merchandise, and have a certificate
of said oath recorded in the Mercer County Court Clerk's Of-
fice.

CIIAPTER 84.
AN ACT for the benefit of Williamn Wadlington, of' Caldwell county.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth
(f Kentucky, That William Wadlington, of Caldwell county,
be and he is hereby permitted to bring into this State the fol-
lowing named slaves, viz: Matison, Albert, Henry, Hampton,
Dick, and Jim, without incurring the penalties prescribed by
