CHAPTER 245.
AN ACT to authorize the Trustee of the Craddock Fund to surrender his
trust, and to constitute a permanent board to manage the same.
WHEREAS, the late Robert Craddock, of Warren county, a
soldier of the revolutioj, by his last will -nd testament, after
Preamble.  emancipiting and providing for his slaves, devised the residue
of his estate to Joseph R. Underwood, with an injuction that
he should appropriate three fourths thereof to purposes of ed-
ucation, but without any restrictions upon the power and dis-
cretion of said Underwood, who has determined to give to the
poor children of said county the benefit of the fund, and de-
sires to organize a permanet system for its management.
Therefore:
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Com.
