ceiving the purchase money, shall convey the title to said lots
to the purchaser or purchasers thereof.

CHAPTER 283.
AN ACT for the benefit of John Loving.
SEc. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Com-
monweallh of Kentucky, That it may be lawful for William
V. Loving, as guardian for his brother, John Loving, to apply,
by petition, to the Judge of the Warren Circuit Court, to sell
.# certain slave, named Elzira, the property of his said ward-
said petition being supported by affidavit that the sale of
said slave will redound to the benefit of said John Loving.
And if the Court shall be of opinion that a sale of said slave
will result beneficially to said John, such sale shall be decreed,
on such terms and payments as the court shall deem most ad-
visable.
SEc. 2. That the said William V. Loving, as guardian afore-
said, is authorized and permitted to vest the proceeds of the
sale of the said slave, Elzira, in the purchase of another female
slave for his said ward; which slave, when so purchased, shall
be held by said guardian as the property of his said ward.
SEe. 3. That said court is authorized to make all such re-
quirements of said guardian as will guard and secure the rights
and interest of his said ward,

CHAPTER 284.
AN ACT for the benefit of the Methodist and Baptist Churches in the Town of
Hardiisburg.
SEc. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the    Trusteess of
Commonwealth of Kentucky, That James Taylor, Morace the Methodist
Hensley, and Williamson Cox, be, and they are hereby, au- 'uc sehr

the town of Hardinsburg which was conveyed by George
Blanford and wife to James Taylor, Jesse W. Kincheloe, Jas.
0. Pulliam, Warren Duncan, Matthias Miller, George Blan-
ford, and Williamson Cox, Trustees for the Methodist church,
by deed, bearing date the eighth day of August, 1832; and
the conveyance, when made, shall pass the title to said meet-
in ghouse and ground to the purchaser.
SU. 2. That the money received by said Taylor, Hensley,  How  pro
and Cox, for the meeting house and ground mentioned in the ceeds to be ap
foregoing section, shall be applied by them to the building of a pied.
