three months, to pay the annual instalments as they are or-
dered, provided that notice of such instalment being ordered,
shall be published for thirty days, consecutively, in one or more
of the authorized newspapers of Lexington.

Cnir. 1331.-AN ACT authorizing a sale of the land and slaves descended to
Mary MeFeeters.
SEc. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Corn-  Petition or
monwealth of Kentucky, That Joseph G. McFeeters, committee bill inch'y may

cuit Court, stating what estate, real and personal, is owned
by said idiot, what is, in his opinion, its present value, what
the land would probably rent for, annually, and how much he
believes the slaves could be hired for by the year, and stating
that, in his opinion, it would redound to the interest of said
idiot that her interest in a tract of land, in the county of Fay-
ette, and two slaves which descended to her, and others from
her father, Charles McFeeters, should be sold, the truth of
which statements shall be supported by the oath of said com-
mittee, and by the testimony of such persons as may be pro-
duced before the court and examined. If the court shall there-
upon be satisfied that it would redound to the interest of    Court may
