ChTAP. 43.-AN ACT fur the benefit of Isaac, a man of colour.
Be it enacted by the G.n',ral Asscmbly of the Commonzocalthl of
Kelniucy, That the title of lot, number one hundred and thir-
ty, in tile town of Shelbyville, Kentucky, containing fifty feet
front nod running two indred and twenty five feet hack, of
which Hannah larris, a woman of colour, diud seized, shall be,
and is heleby vested in John Minter, of Shelby county, said
llinter hei ng the owner of a slave named Isaac, who was tile
husband of said lhannah and s'iid John Minter shall hold said
lo.t of ground in trust for said Isaac, and shall have power to
sell the same, upon his consenting to apply the proceeds there-
of to the benefit of said Isaac; anl any conveyance made by
said Minter of said lot of ground, shall vst the absolute title
thereto in the pur-baser. Approved, February 23, 1837.
CHAP. 437.-AN ACT to equalize raxation.
Be it enacteld by the General Asscmbly of the Conzowraldh of
Kentucky, That all persons, from anti ;ficr the tenth day of
January eighteen hundred and thirty eight, when giving in
their lists of taxable properly, shall be, and they arc hereby
required to fix,on oath, a sum sufficient to cover what they shal
be respectively worth, from all sources, on the day to which
daid lists relate, exclusive of the property required by law to be
listed for taxation, (not computing therein the first three hun-
dred dollars in value, nor lands not within this State, nor
